Temperatures could drop to minus 10 in West Kent

According to Kent News, the temperature in West Kent could be as low as -10 deg C by the end of the week.

In West Kent, two inches of snow fell last night and roads have generally remained clear enough to drive on but that could change by Friday.

There were no reported school closures in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells, although as we told you earlier, the Valence School in Westerham was closing to any day pupils.

Medway and Maidstone were affected more, with Maidstone Grammar closing and various schools in Gillingham and Chatham.

According to Kent News, minimum temperatures for Kent  are set to fall as low as minus 10 on Friday night, before recovering a little for the weekend.
