The usual suspects win badminton title

BADMINTON: Hollybush Badminton Club held their annual American Tournament, in which seven mixed pairs played each other throughout the day.

All matches were highly contested, with couples vying for the prize.

With only a few points between the top four couples, it did not become clear until the last few matches who the winners might be, but once again, through consistent, determined play, Andy Burrows and Barbara Mitchell won for the third year running.

Matt Beacon organised the event and Ron Sullivan provided the photo.

Hollybush Badminton Club has members from Edenbridge, Horton Kirby and Hildenborough, as well as Sevenoaks, where they meet at the Mulberry Hall, Walthamstow Hall School, on Monday and Wednesday evenings (7.30-10.30pm).
