SEVENOAKS Town are back in action on Saturday, as they travel to Guildford City in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase.

Monday’s local derby with Tunbridge Wells had to be postponed, after Martin Larkin’s side earned themselves a FA replay against Dulwich Hamlet after a 3-3 draw on Saturday.

This meant that Wells had to play the replay on Tuesday evening.

Manager Keith Levett would have been looking forward to the match, especially after the team’s excellent 2-1 win over Erith and Belvedere in the previous league game.

Find out how Town got on in next week’s paper.

In other news, youngster Charles Dunn has joined League 2 side Wycombe Wanderers.

The 17-year-old was a member of the Welling Academy, and played in Sevenoaks Town’s reserve side last season.

Levett said; “It’s great for Charles, he is a good footballer, and was only at the academy for a year, so we can’t take too much credit for that.

“He thanked me though for the time he was with us, and sent me a nice text, thanking us and all the academy staff.

“I don’t know the exact details of the deal, but he had a trial there, and Wycombe have offered him terms, which is good.”

Meanwhile, another Academy youngster Leon Farrell made his Sevenoaks debut in the win at Erith and Belvedere last week.

Farrell also played in the reserves last season, and Levett said: “He is a year two with us, and is progressing nicely.

“He has probably lacked a little bit of confidence, but we are trying to build that up, and tell him what a good player he is.

“I think he enjoyed it against Erith last week, and is another nice prospect coming through the academy and is one of the future.”

The reserves lost 2-0 at home to Lordswood on Saturday.
