With the end of half term almost upon us, there's plenty of action and adventure for children on at The Stag Cinema, plus a timeless classic in memory of Elizabeth Taylor.

The Adventures of Tintin

Using the comic book hero created by Belgian artist Hergé (Georges Remi). director Steven Spielberg uses computer animation to bring alive an adventure in which Tintin, Captain Haddock and Snowy, set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor.
The Lion King

A young lion prince is born in Africa, making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. Scar manages to usurp the throne through the death of his brother and exile of his nephew. After years away from the pride, Prince Simba is persuaded to return home to try and overthrow his uncle and claim the kingdom as his own which then will complete the 'Circle of Life'.
Dolphin Tale

A lonely young boy finds a dolphin caught in a crab trap. He grows close to the dolphin and, when its injuries leads to the amputation of its tail, the boy seeks out a prosthesis specialist in an effort to help his new friend swim again.
