Come join us in our mission to 'move the world' in order to make the next generation a fit and healthy one.
FitKid, the power behind The LazyTown Sport’s Club is on a mission to get kids active and moving more with classes and parties launching in Sevenoaks.
Our aim is to encourage children to lead a healthy lifestyle and we show them how much fun it can be to get active.
FitKid sessions are fun multi skilled sessions that teach children the essential skills including balance, co-ordination and agility.
LazyTown Sports Clubs sessions include all the movement, excitement, music and action from the hit TV show LazyTown which airs in over 125 countries worldwide. You only have to view the media to see the growing concern of childhood obesity, it is big news and unfortunately if we don’t encourage our children to get active it’s set to get even bigger. Kids need to be active in order to feel healthy and energetic, as well as to grow and develop to their highest potential. A key essential life skill that they learn at the sessions.ãÂÂ
We are set to go into local schools, Nursery’s, Leisure Centres but mostly importantly anywhere we feel we can make a difference, with our classes, parties and events, and show kids fitness and healthy living is fun. Imagine the smile on a child’s face when the LazyTown Sports Club Team arrive to run their birthday celebrations and their Superhero Sportacus or fun loving Stephanie may also pop along too.
Terese Baskett, who is operating the sessions in the Kent region said “I can’t wait to go out and make a difference to today’s children with promoting the importance of health. Kids now spend too much time being sedentry and spend less time running and playing. With FitKid and LazyTown activity is fun for everyone, so come along and see.”
