See the results of the Trust's largest ever conservation project. Set in a sunken valley, a fascinating moated manor house dating from 1340 onwards. Recently the north-west quarter and upper floor were reopen after conservation and repair work. The main features inclued the Tudor chapel with painted ceiling, Great hall, Old chapel and crypt, Jacobean fireplace and 18th century wallpaper.
