Course: Exploring Historic Towns, Buildings and Industries

Join the Workers' Educational Association (WEA) Sevenoaks branch on this 10-week course where we will explore historic towns, buildings and industries, with examples from Kent and elsewhere in Britain. Topics include: Anglo-Saxon churches, building a medieval cathedral, Kentish castles, Kent's paper and gunpowder industries, the Cinque Ports, and some historic English cities.

Timetable: Weekly course from Tuesday 23rd September: 9 indoor classes 14.15 to 16.15 and one field trip to be arranged in conjunction with the class.

Venue: Unitarian Meeting House, Bessels Green, Sevenoaks. TN13 2PX

Fee: £84, but it may be completely FREE if you are in receipt of an income-related benefit.
