Baby Signing?

I wonder if any other Sevenoaks Mummies and Daddies with little ones have done baby signing with them? I started signing with my baby when she was eight months old and  by nine months she started using her own signs to communicate with us. Now she is 19months and she is a fabulous communicator! We learnt how to sign with our little one through Sing and Sign and it’s honestly been the most rewarding thing I have ever done. It’s helped so much with her speech and language development and actually more than anything just such good fun. We were having conversations with her about her interests, thoughts and feelings before she could say a word and when she did start talking we knew what she was trying to say because of her sign. I’ve become so passionate about baby signing that I want to teach everyone how to! Well at least some Mums and Dads in Sevenoaks anyway! Sing and Sign baby signing classes will be in Sevenoaks from the end of April. Everyone is welcome to a free taster! Fab!

I started taking my baby to classes when she was eight months which was when I started using the signs at home. She started signing back to me at about nine months. Some babies have started signing earlier and some later. Sing and Sign take babies from 6/7 months.
