Where would you recommend for information, support and social activities for parents-to-be or those with new babies in Sevenoaks?

If you are looking for activities to do with your new baby, why not try Musical Bumps? We run gentle baby music classes in Sevenoaks, Riverhead and surrounding areas. Babies are welcome from just a few weeks old - babies are never too young to enjoy music and singing! Music is a great shared activity and you will soon see your baby responding, imitating and joining in. We use a mixture of traditional and new songs and rhymes to soothe babies, lullabies for sleep time, playful songs (bouncing, tickling and peekaboo) and songs for other daily activities. We use colourful puppets, instruments and other props, and ensure there is time at the end of each session for refreshments and a chat.
Check out our website tinyurl.com/ycc3gx3 - and come along to a free taster session to see what we're all about.
Best wishes

Come and try Fitmums it is at Holly Bush Park on a Monday, Wed and Friday.... All the mums that come along have moved into the area with their new babies... This is a postnatal class which helps you get fit in the fresh air with your child. It is very social group who stay for a drink afterwards and a chat in the Lodge Cafe...

I don't think we do badly for mum and baby groups in the Sevenoaks area. Most people find friends through NCT (go to their website to find local contact details) or other antenatal classes and if not there through parent and baby groups (St Nics church Sevenoaks, First Steps at Methodist Church Otford are notable examples) if you are into fitness I can certainly vouch for FitMums and there are music groups such as Monkey Music at Hollybush and Pipsqueaks in Otford. Also Sevenoaks and Otford library do free nursery rhyme sessions. I had the best social life ever while on maternity leave!
I saw a poster and thought of you!
There's a Father and child group called Daddy Comes Too. It's on the third Saturday of every month and is for Dads of kids aged 6 and under.
Venue: The Vine Baptist Church, Park Lane, Sevenoaks.
Bacon sandwich and a coffee. 10.30am to 12noon.
