TRIBUTES have been paid to a Ukrainian woman found dead in her Sevenoaks flat.

The body of Marina Kolobova-Featherstone was discovered at 3.40am on Friday in her High Street apartment above The Oak Tree pub.

Police are trying to establish the cause of her death and will run further tests after a post mortem was inconclusive.

The 27-year-old former beauty queen worked in Malabar Coffee House for a month earlier this year, and more recently in the Loch Fyne restaurant on the High Street.

Malabar owner Julia Baber said she was "completely shocked" at the news, adding: "Marina was so sweet and lovely, really kind. She was so eager to please everybody."

Loch Fyne closed early on Friday as a mark of respect.

A 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been given police bail until December 5.
