Traffic delays continue at Sevenoaks station

With half term coming to an end, drivers passing by or dropping children or partners at Sevenoaks Station may want to try and avoid the area for a little while longer.

Traffic lights have been set up outside the former Railway & Bike pub at Tubs Hill.

Expect long delays coming in and going out of Sevenoaks by the station.

There are warning signs but the best advice is to avoid this area if you can. A temporary bus stop has been put up just beyond the junction of Granville Road.
The traffic lights which have been erected outside the new development work on the site of the former Railway & Bike Pub are still causing long delays.
The three way traffic lights controlling traffic going through the junction of Tubs Hill, Station Road, and Hitchen Hatch Lane, Sevenoaks is being exacerbated by vehicles attempting to join the highways from St Botolphs and Granville Road as well as cars coming out of the station.
A temporary bus stop has also been put up just beyond the junction of Granville Road.
It would be best to avoid this area if you can and keep an eye out on Sevenoaks People for news of when the lights have been removed.
