Sevenoaks confirms Christmas and New Year refuse collection days

Sevenoaks District Council has confirmed when it will be collecting refuse over the Christmas 2012 period.

The Council's refuse collectors, who are working most days between Christmas and New Year
In a statement, it said it would be working most of the break between Christmas and New Year to minimise disruption to local people.
It added: 'Most collections will be one day later than usual over the festive period with one collection, Tuesday 25 December, deferred for just over a week.'
The revised collection dates are as follows:
Monday 24 December - no change
Tuesday 25 December - next collection Wednesday 2 January
Wednesday 26 December - next collection Thursday 27 December
Thursday 27 December - next collection Friday 28 December
Friday 28 December - next collection Saturday 29 December
Monday 31 December - no change
Tuesday 1 January - next collection Wednesday 2 January
Wednesday 2 January - next collection Thursday 3 January
Thursday 3 January - next collection Friday 4 January
Friday 4 January - next collection Saturday 5 January
Residents are reminded to put their sacks out by 7am on their collection day.
