Long serving Sevenoaks District Councillor passes away

Sevenoaks District Councillor Colin Dibsdall, who represented Crockenhill and Well Hill, has passed away.

Sevenoaks District Councillor Colin Dibsdall who sadly died this week.
A statement from SDC said: "It is with great sadness that the Council announces the passing of one of its longest serving Councillors, Colin Dibsdall.
"Colin Dibsdall died on Tuesday 29 November at Darent Valley Hospital (near Dartford) where he was admitted as an emergency. His close family were able to be with him.
"His sudden passing was a great shock to his family and everyone at the Council.
"Colin Dibsdall was a dedicated local councillor who was first elected to Sevenoaks District Council in 1987 to represent the Crockenhill ward, later renamed Crockenhill & Well Hill.
"He also represented Crockenhill as a parish councillor. He was elected to Eynsford Parish Council in 1983, when Crockenhill was part of parish, then to Crockenhill Parish Council at its inception in 1987."
