Knole competition winner

The competition to win a Christmas feast in the Great Hall at Knole which featured on Sevenoaks People in October has been won by Bobbie Fairclough from Otford.

Jonathan Sargant, Knole's Community Engagement Officer, said the competition, to win a meal for 10 people had been a great success.

Hundreds of people answered the online survey on Knole's development plans.

He said: "The offer of a meal in the Great Hall was so tempting that we were able to get the views of many more people than we had expected. It's very important that the public have a say in how we develop Knole, so we're delighted that we now know much more about the sorts of activities and events people would like to take part in here, and how they would like to see this beautiful house share its heritage with the community.
