Free parking in Westerham for Christmas Shopping night 2012

Shoppers can take advantage of free evening parking as part of the Westerham Christmas lights switch on and late night shopping event.

Sevenoaks District Council has agreed to make parking free in its car parks and on street in the centre of Westerham from 5pm on Thursday 29 November. 

This offer will be repeated after last year's successful annual shopping event when the Council made parking free for the first time. 

Cllr Avril Hunter, Sevenoaks District Council's Cabinet member with responsibility for parking, says: "We're pleased to be making all parking free to support local traders. 

"As ever we are happy to support this year's late night Christmas lights switch on and shopping evening."
