Detectives investigating a report of a robbery in the High Street in Farningham have released a computer generated image of a man they would like to speak to.

At around 2:20pm on 13 September, it is reported that a man in the passenger seat of a BMW X5 was forced out of the vehicle by a man, who then took the car.

The owner of the vehicle was in a nearby bank at the time, whilst his passenger was waiting in the car. The driver and passenger were both unharmed.

The stolen vehicle is reported to have left the scene in convoy with a black Vauxhall Insignia.

Police have now released a computer generated image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

Detective Constable Michelle James from Kent Police said: 'This was a high value robbery, with a vehicle worth around £15,000 being taken. The offence took place in broad day light and I'm hopeful that any witnesses can contact us, or that anyone who recognises the man in the image can get in touch and help us further our investigation.'

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC James at Kent Police by calling 101, and quoting crime reference YY/16690/12. Alternatively, contact Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
